European Football Leagues
A summary of the football action around Europe on Monday evening.
Besiktas went level on points with third-placed Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig after drawing 2-2 at mid-table Istanbul Buyuksehir.
The home side took an early lead through Efe Inanc who opened the scoring after six minutes.
Besiktas came back into the game and went ahead through goals from Manuel Fernandes (36) and Mustafa Pektemek (49).
But the home side ensured the points were shared when Edin Visca scored with 20 minutes remaining.
Portuguese Primeira Liga
Braga went top of the Portuguese Liga as Marcio Mossoro and Rodrigo Lima scored the goals in the 2-1 win over Academica, making it 13 successive wins in the league.
Mossoro opened the scoring after 36 minutes and Lima netted on the stroke of half-time before David Simao got a consolation for Academica after 62 minutes, five minutes after coming on as a substitute.
The win took Braga a point above Porto at the top of the table while Academica remain five points above the relegation zone.
Maritimo had to come from behind to win 3-2 at home to Gil Vicente as Christian Pouga scored a late winner five minutes after entering the action as a replacement.
Ramos Heldon gave Maritimo the lead after just three minutes before Gil Vicente took control with goals from Ze Luis Andrade (43) and Luis Carlos Lima a minute later.
Nuno Briguel levelled the game up after 62 minutes before Pouga settled it with four minutes to go.
Danish Superliga
Soren Larsen and Osarna Akharraz scored a goal in each half as AGF Aarhus ended a run of three Superliga games without a win with a 2-0 victory at Midtjylland.
AGF's triumph proved enough to move them above their opponents into fourth place and the final Europa League qualifying position, and within a point of third-placed Horsens.
Larsen opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute and AGF wrapped up the points in the 74th minute when Akharraz, a 68th-minute substitute for Soren Berg, was on target.
